starRo是目前洛杉矶音乐场景中最不能错过的声音之一，他也是SOULECTION厂牌旗下与爵士即兴最亲近的音乐制作人和乐器演奏家。此次YETI团队非常高兴邀请这位来自日本现居洛杉矶的音乐家来到香港（12月11日）和上海（12月12日ARKHAM），而在此之前YETI团队的小编ROXY先给他做了一期新栏目CHIT CHAT的趣味问答题，来看看他怎么说：
You may know starRo as SOULECTION‘s jazziest and most talented producer and multi-instrumentalist. Hailing originally from Tokyo, Shinya Mizoguchi, better known simply as starRo, first came together with SOULECTION in LA in May 2013. Within two years, starRo and SOULECTION’s collaboration has skyrocketed, and he’s quickly become one of LA’s most promising musicians and live acts, known for mixing a number of different genres of the moment.
Before YETI brings starRo to FLY Hong Kong this coming December 11th, and into Arkham‘s Shanghai underground on December 12th for a very special live set, we had a chance to catch up with Shinya and get to know him for our latest CHIT CHAT series. We got a small glimpse into what makes a big musical talent tick – just in time for his December tour. Best gig ever?
One in Toronto, Canada, was very memorable. It was in the middle of the hot ass summer but the AC system of the venue went down. Felt like it was 40 degrees in the entire venue with a thousand people, and a few people passed out and had to go to the hospital. It was madness but that heat made everybody free their mind and turn up like crazy. Kinda like when you are doing hot yoga or something. It was a kind of energy only seen under very specific conditions and it was amazing.
在加拿大多伦多的一场演出是最难忘的。那是夏天最热的时候但演出场地的空调坏了，你可以想象1000多个人一起挤在40摄氏度的空间里面吗？甚至有些人混到送医院了。但是这温度和混乱的场面也让所有人有了疯狂跳舞的冲动，就像是伴随着音乐集体练习热瑜伽，这种奇妙的体验也只有在这种特殊的情况下才能体验到了！
