作为 Crimes of the Future 唱片的主脑，Fairplay 亦与英国 techno 音乐标志性人物 Andrew Weatherrall 组成了 Asphodells 。90 年代期间，两人从 “ Madchester”的时代走出，开启了实验性的 techno 新篇章。并通过更加先锋的 IDM 制作令 Chemical Brothers 以及 Oakenfold 等这样在当时地位显赫的音乐人黯然失色。Timothy J. Fairplay 更是被 Resident Advisor、The Guardian、XLR8R 等权威媒体和音乐机构赞赏有加，且同时俘获了骨灰级乐迷和新生代乐迷的芳心。

As the bossman of record label 'Crimes of the Future' Fairplay is also one half of The Asphodells alongside British techno kingpin Andrew Weatherall. As producers, the duo have moved from sounds of 'Madchester' era to experimental techno through the '90s. They could've easily ridden the big beat (Chemical Brothers) or high-profile-DJ (Oakenfold) waves at the end of the decade, yet choosing instead to pursue a more cutting-edge, IDM approach. Over the years Fairplay has garnered extensive record collections and production outputs, critically acclaimed by Resident Advisor, The Guardian to XLR8R while nurturing a cult-like status amongst fans old and new in the process.

The Name "Fish Island School Of Synthesis"?

Fish Island School Of Synthesis 名字由何而来？

Well The Fish Island School Of Synthesis is actually no more, was the studio I was in for 18 months after leaving Scrutton Street studios. Though it was where I recorded my album “Where Is The Champion?”. I am somewhere else now that I just call Studio 3.

其实 Fish Island School Of Synthesis  已经不存在了。这是我在离开 Scrutton 街的录影棚之后所待了 18 个月的 studio。就是在那里，我录制了专辑《Where Is The Champion？》。我现在在其他录影棚制作音乐，我把它简单叫座 Studio 3.
