For Art Basel Week 2018, cult LA label Pleasures teams up with Hong Kong-via-Shanghai music collective Yeti Out for a capsule collection celebrating rave culture in the bourgeoning scenes of Asia. The tribal prints and Chinese characters pull from graphics often seen on custom automotives in Mong Kok and Prince Edward, and lifestyle motifs adopted by HK’s young and restless youth. The collaboration consists of two long sleeve T-shirts in neon and white, a record tote bag, and a USB mixtape necklace (featuring exclusive edits from LMF and HK experimental band NYPD) mixed by the Yeti crew. Shot by Carol Tam in Hong Kong’s industrial area of Tai Kok Tsui, the collection will be available exclusively at Club Haus (March 27 – April 1), a transient pop-up concept intersecting arts, audio & apparel at J-01 Gallery during Art Basel week, and online.
